Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Digital Infrastructure Services & Platforms Manager to guide the next phase of our technology journey. This is a key leadership position responsible for shaping, operating, and continuously enhancing the core digital platforms that support our business and the communities we serve.

Job Responsibility

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team and manage relationships with key partners
  • Platform Ownership: Oversee cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and network environments with strong security and resilience
  • Architecture and Planning: Develop and execute Northpower's digital infrastructure roadmap to support organisational growth
  • Operational Excellence: Serve as the escalation point during critical incidents and ensure efficient, transparent resolution
  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify emerging technologies and implement enhancements that elevate service capability and reduce cost
  • Vendor Management: Strengthen supplier relationships and ensure maximum value from contracts and commercial agreements
  • Some travel and after-hours work may be required

Requirements

  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure, including 5+ years in leadership
  • Proven experience designing, delivering, and managing complex infrastructure platforms
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure-as-code, enterprise technologies and cybersecurity
  • Proven experience with disaster recovery, and infrastructure architecture
  • Strong commercial and vendor management skills
  • Familiarity with ITIL and service delivery frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
