Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Digital Infrastructure Services & Platforms Manager to guide the next phase of our technology journey. This is a key leadership position responsible for shaping, operating, and continuously enhancing the core digital platforms that support our business and the communities we serve.
Job Responsibility
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team and manage relationships with key partners
Platform Ownership: Oversee cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and network environments with strong security and resilience
Architecture and Planning: Develop and execute Northpower's digital infrastructure roadmap to support organisational growth
Operational Excellence: Serve as the escalation point during critical incidents and ensure efficient, transparent resolution
Innovation and Improvement: Identify emerging technologies and implement enhancements that elevate service capability and reduce cost
Vendor Management: Strengthen supplier relationships and ensure maximum value from contracts and commercial agreements
Some travel and after-hours work may be required
Requirements
10+ years in IT infrastructure, including 5+ years in leadership
Proven experience designing, delivering, and managing complex infrastructure platforms
Strong knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure-as-code, enterprise technologies and cybersecurity
Proven experience with disaster recovery, and infrastructure architecture
Strong commercial and vendor management skills
Familiarity with ITIL and service delivery frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
