Job Description

Graphicsland is a growing e-commerce company that specializes in custom printing of stickers, product labels, and wide format posters. Our brands handle hundreds of thousands of custom orders every year, helping small businesses, creators, and researchers look professional, grow their audiences, and share their ideas with the world. We're looking for a Digital Finishing Operator who will be responsible for the final stage of sticker and label production at our production facility in Tinley Park, IL. No experience required, we provide training. Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Job Responsibility

  • Operate a laser finisher to produce sticker and label products
  • Operate a slitting machine to cut rolls down to finished label rolls
  • Inspect materials before and after cutting to verify accuracy and quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and opening/closing tasks as needed
  • Troubleshoot and communicate errors or issues to the proper teammates
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and orders
  • Use internal software applications daily

Requirements

  • Associates degree or at least some college completed
  • 6+ months experience troubleshooting preferred
  • 6+ months experience in printing is a bonus
  • Strong computer literacy, with the ability to confidently navigate internal software applications
  • Basic math skills and ability to do conversions between metric and standard systems
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs., bending, squatting, overhead reaching, frequent walking, using hands for manual tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Be reliable, punctual, possess amazing communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Curious in nature, take great pride in work ethic, and be committed to excellence
