Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the Infrastructure Accounting team management of its accounting systems, including connection to cross-functional systems feeding into accounting systems
  • Set the systems agenda for Infra Accounting, including supporting all business initiatives and launches
  • Create a system vision and leading the accounting efforts on executing that vision
  • Understand the entire Infrastructure Accounting systems landscape, including upstream purchasing and receiving systems across data center, fiber optic network, server life cycle or connectivity efforts
  • Build relationships with all of the system engineering teams, and ensure that roadmaps reflect accounting team requirements
  • Drive accurate and timely month-end close by driving automated solution across all Capex and Leases
  • Lead and manage implementation of new systems and enhancements for all of global Infra Accounting, including assessing resource needs, coordinating with our Enterprise Engineering partner
  • Partner with and influence Enterprise Engineering partners in developing a roadmap for future enhancements and changes, with a goal to streamline, automate and transform the financial statement close process
  • Assist in the assessment of any control exceptions and coordinate closely with Meta's internal audit function and independent auditors
  • Drive efficiency efforts for Infra Accounting including automation and outsourcing efforts

Requirements:

  • Requires Master's (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 36 months of experience in job offered or related occupation
  • Requires 36 months of experience involving the following: Leading business and technology work streams to implement scalable finance and accounting solutions
  • Deploying RPA enabled analytics solution to automate monthly close reporting improving accuracy, timeliness and compliance
  • Reviewing accounting systems capabilities to develop business cases and implement Agile solutions
  • Digital finance transformation, product development and growth, data analytics, and program management
  • and Technology trends and changes in the accounting industry and bringing those solutions to the roadmap including Oracle Financials (including Cloud), Hyperion, Tableau, SQL, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), JIRA, Azure, SAP S/4 HANA, GRC modules, or Blue Prism
