We are seeking a Digital Finance Specialist to join our APAC Finance Team based in Brisbane. This role sits at the intersection of core financial operations and continuous improvement. It will oversee key automated Financial Accounting processes and ensure correct governance while actively seeking further opportunities to automate, streamline, and modernize how the finance function operates.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead automated financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, strong governance, and timely month-end delivery
  • Support payroll and employee entitlements, maintaining compliance, integrity, and efficient end-to-end processing
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across finance, streamlining workflows and reducing manual effort
  • Identify and implement smarter ways of working using digital tools (e.g. AI, Power Platform, ERP enhancements)
  • Partner across teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives and embed a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in accounting or finance, with strong ERP systems and advanced Excel capability
  • Proven experience improving finance processes, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Collaborative and discreet, with sound judgement and ability to build trusted relationships
  • Exposure to automation (e.g. Power Automate, Claude), data visualization (e.g. Power BI), and digital transformation environments
