Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Digital Events Manager to join Confluent’s marketing team. This is an ideal role for someone that is looking to plan, produce, and deploy compelling and high-impact digital events. This cross-functional role will collaborate daily with our global campaigns, regional field marketers (EMEA, AMER, and APAC), digital, lifecycle, sales, operations, and product teams to drive engagement and pipeline through unique and differentiated digital experiences. As the Digital Events Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of the digital events program. This role will be accountable for bringing together key stakeholders, coordinating logistics, and leveraging technology to create engaging and impactful digital events.

Job Responsibility

  • Own digital events’ calendaring process, scope incoming business needs across the organization, and make recommendations to drive business impact
  • Partner with Operations’ Team to gather digital event requirements and solution the best experience for our audience
  • Set-up and configure the webinars on our digital platform(s)
  • Ensure on-time and quality delivery of our digital events and associated deliverables
  • Generate digital event reporting, analyze performance, and distribute to key stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Develop hypotheses and run experiments to improve registration, engagement, and post-event conversion
  • Identify and implement strategies that will maximize participant engagement
  • Collaborate with internal channel partners to drive registration and attendance
  • Conduct enablement sessions with our internal and external content contributors
  • Lead regular status meetings and updates for digital event planning and coordination
  • Partner with Program Management to develop and execute processes and documentation necessary to effectively produce each event

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in digital events and webinar marketing
  • Deep understanding of B2B webinar best practices
  • Proficiency with webinar hosting platforms and tools, as well as CRM and marketing automation platforms, including ON24, Zoom Webinar, Marketo, and Salesforce
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, building strong relationships with stakeholders and partners across different regions and functions
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the overall picture
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills
