As a Digital Engineer within Pandora Manufacturing Technology COE team, you will be responsible for the integration of various enterprise system both inbound/outbound to both On-Premises and Cloud instances of SAP Products and Non-SAP products. You will function as the connector between functional needs and technology ensuring that we are always working on the things that creates value for our business. This also includes delivery of our new Digital Strategy, Crafting & Supply Strategy, and the ambition of creating the SMART factory and Data-driven manufacturing. You will work together with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to establish a new agile delivery engine to cross-functionally realize the strategic ambitions. You will focus on driving the product agenda for the most critical part of the strategy, i.e., shaping and implementing a new ecosystem for MOM (SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud - SAP DMC) capabilities across the plants.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in developing and maintaining system integrations between on-premises and cloud-based platforms
Use programming skills in C# and Python to support the creation of data transformation scripts, automation tools, and integration components
Analyze and understand existing integration workflows, data mappings, and system interactions to build foundational knowledge and support enhancement or maintenance activities
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues by identifying root causes, reviewing logs, and collaborating with senior engineers or support teams to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing operations
Support the configuration and use of adapters/connectors such as REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, and JDBC to enable communication between diverse enterprise applications
Assist in implementing security best practices including data encryption, secure file transfer, and token-based authentication for integration processes
Participate in transforming data between formats like JSON, XML, and CSV, validating the accuracy and completeness of information exchanged
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, process engineers, and business analysts to understand integration requirements and contribute to effective solutions
Help maintain documentation of integration workflows, data mappings, and technical processes for internal use and future reference
Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable scripts and components using C#, Python, or JavaScript, to improve integration efficiency and standardization
Learn and begin working with event-driven messaging tools (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Grid) for real-time data processing and alerts
Stay updated with new integration tools and platforms, contributing ideas and research to support continuous improvement of integration practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of experience in Software Development or Systems Integration
2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
Experienced in integrating with enterprise ecosystems such as ERP, Supply Chain, PLM, CRM, or other core business platforms
Skilled in documenting business requirements, writing functional design specifications, and creating training or support materials
Experienced in facilitating workshops, driving solution design, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing end-user training
Strong in stakeholder communication and collaboration, with the ability to align priorities and maintain a product-centric mindset
Proactive, independent, and structured in your approach—able to take ownership and deliver against deadlines
Comfortable working in agile environments, supporting agile teams, and evaluating opportunities, risks, and technical implications
Able to combine strategic and analytical thinking with a strong interest in technology and digital transformation
Nice to have:
Exposure to or hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI)
Familiar with manufacturing or industrial processes and understand operational workflows, KPIs, and system interdependencies
Professional certification in integration tools, cloud platforms, or development technologies is a plus
