Our client, a boutique agency in Florida is seeking a highly skilled Digital Designer / Front-End Developer (HTML5) to support ongoing, as-needed work creating custom HTML display banners for a food & beverage brand. This is a remote, flexible freelance opportunity ideal for someone who is equally strong in visual design and front-end execution as well as true expert level of proficiency in HTML5 animated banner development. Job Responsibility

  • Design HTML display banners from scratch, including layout, typography, and visual concepts
  • Build and code animated HTML5 banners with clean, efficient front-end code
  • Translate creative concepts into high-performing, production-ready assets
  • Ensure banners meet technical specifications, file size limits, and ad platform requirements
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing partners as needed to iterate on designs
  • Manage work independently while meeting deadlines in a flexible, project-based environment

Requirements

  • Expert-level (10/10) proficiency in HTML5 banner design and front-end development
  • Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of digital advertising best practices
  • Experience creating animated HTML display ads from concept through final build
  • Comfortable working without set hours and ramping up availability as needed
  • Able to work remotely within EST or CST time zones (PST not supported)
  • Flexible, project-based (no set hours to start
  • may evolve over time)

Nice to have

Experience supporting brands in consumer, lifestyle, or food & beverage categories is a plus
