The Digital Design Engineering Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Job Responsibility:
Drive business impact by contributing to plan/product design, testing/piloting, and market launch efforts
Pre-empt issues and head off problems by ensuring cross line of business implications of the products are identified and resolved prior to the successful product launch
Understand the business objectives, user needs, and define UX goal scopes, and plan design activities for a project, end to end
Partner with business and technical stakeholder, to solve complex business and technical requirements, and drive intuitive user-centered solutions
Understand Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) fundamentals to deliver acceptable creative designs
Stay up to date on current events in the industry that affect Citi's bottom line to keep our products competitive
Challenge the current business as usual (BAU) design standards and constantly look for improvement
Launch digital features across multiple channels, and closely monitor, measure, and report on feature performance
Analyze performance data to identify opportunities to improve user experiences, increase conversion, and optimize efficiencies
Achieve stakeholder buy-in and ability to lead cross-functional work streams
Work closely with analytics, research and technology partner to ensure systems and programs are satisfying consumer needs and driving the business
Communicate design and roadmap initiatives to outside groups (executives, product owners, development teams, etc.)
Work with prototype developers, or prototype yourself, for rapid deployment
Convert ideas into basic wireframes to provide direction to UX and UI Designers
Be able to negotiate and diplomatically manage conflicting points of view, as well as influence others in the organization to ensure alignment and progress
Be able to work with outside vendors and agencies
Support different teams by facilitating team to team communication
Look for innovation outside of daily delivery that benefit the customer/company
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
Requirements:
6-10 years of relevant experience in a product or creative position
Significant experience managing complex business and technical solutions
Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams
