We are looking to recruit an individual to join our expanding Digital Cyber Team to aid in growing our portfolio of cyber governance and advisory work. The role will typically focus on managing and growing the teams delivering cybersecurity controls assessments, technical advisory engagements and guiding clients on their level of cyber risk. As experts on cyber risk, the BDO Digital Cyber Team advises clients across industries and geographies, staying at the forefront of knowledge of the threat landscape, cyber defence best practices and regulatory expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and grow the teams delivering cybersecurity controls assessments, technical advisory engagements and guiding clients on their level of cyber risk
Advise clients across industries and geographies on cyber risk
Stay at the forefront of knowledge of the threat landscape, cyber defence best practices and regulatory expectations
Client relationship and engagement delivery
Mentoring and playing an active role in maintaining and enhancing the strong people culture within our team
Requirements:
Experience in IT security domains
Strong understanding and working knowledge of cyber control gap assessments (eg. CIS Benchmarks / NIST)
Certifications such as (CISSP / CCSP / CISM / CRISC) are highly beneficial
Strong technical foundation to support the understanding of controls, experience in information technology, IT risk (consultancy experience) or regulatory landscape
Ability to build sustainable relationships and networks with team members and with clients
Experience managing teams and a passion for supporting the development of self and others
