Job Description:

Digital Content Creator role at Secret Media Network, focused on creating engaging content for social media platforms, driving audience growth, and implementing communication strategies for the Los Angeles market.

Job Responsibility:

Bring unique ideas on how to improve and manage international communities in social media
Provide high quality and engaging text and visual content for social media accounts with focus on Los Angeles
Drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, & Instagram)
Evaluate and develop engaging and original content including on-camera presence and voice overs
Create, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
Stay up-to-date on TikTok and Instagram rules and algorithms
Ensure marketing and social media campaigns are aligned with communication strategy
Maintain Secret Media Network editorial voice in headlines and copywriting
Build and strengthen relationships with audience, potential customers, industry professionals and influencers
Work with Director of Social Media and Editorial Executives to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content
Complete timely qualitative and quantitative analysis/reporting to improve brand recognition

Requirements:

Native level of English
Deep passion for digital storytelling and understanding the social media landscape
3+ years experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
Strong understanding of digital media trends
Ability to adapt to the fast-moving world of a digital startup business
Experience with social media tools like Creators Studio, Storrito, Later and similar
Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
Ability to work in teams towards a shared goal
Flexible and quick to pivot

Nice to have:

Second language
Experience with Facebook Ads and other social paid platforms
Canva master and pro-editor of short, engaging videos
Experience with design/editing tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, etc.)
Experience in TikTok, YouTube and Twitter
