A mission-driven Jewish nonprofit is seeking a Part-Time Digital Content Creator to support its marketing and communications initiatives. This role focuses on producing compelling digital content that highlights the organization’s mission, programs, and community impact. Job Responsibility:
Create and produce engaging, mission-driven content that communicates the organization’s programs, initiatives, and impact. Content may include static graphics, short-form videos, animations, and multimedia assets for organic and paid digital channels
Capture and edit video and photography that highlight community stories, including interviews with program participants, volunteers, and community members
Attend community programs, fundraising events, and organizational gatherings to document stories and showcase donor and volunteer engagement (occasional evenings or weekends may be required)
Repurpose and adapt existing content for use across different platforms such as social media, websites, email campaigns, and digital advertising
Collaborate with marketing, communications, and program teams to align content with campaign goals, messaging priorities, and organizational timelines
Work with design tools or collaborate with designers to create visually compelling graphics, banners, and digital assets that maintain consistent brand standards
Manage production details including formatting, resizing, and optimizing assets for different digital platforms
Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions for campaigns, storytelling initiatives, and digital engagement strategies
Stay informed about trends in nonprofit marketing, storytelling, and digital content strategy, bringing new ideas and best practices to the team
Utilize emerging AI tools and technologies to support content ideation, production efficiency, and creative development
Monitor performance insights and adjust content approaches to improve engagement and reach
Requirements:
7–10 years of experience in digital content creation, ideally within nonprofit, social impact, or mission-driven organizations
Strong storytelling ability with an understanding of how written content, visuals, and motion graphics work together to communicate a message
Proficiency in video editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms
Demonstrated experience producing engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and digital advertising
Strong understanding of digital marketing and content strategy, including audience engagement and campaign storytelling
Highly adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
Comfortable working with collaborative workflows and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
Familiarity with AI-assisted tools that support brainstorming, design, or content production
Experience creating content for diverse audiences, including donors, volunteers, and community members
Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment
Passion for nonprofit, community-focused, and mission-driven work
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-starter who is proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working independently
