The Digital Communications Coordinator will support the Head of Communication (HoC) and the communications team in the US with digital outreach activities. While managed by Head of Communications, this position will often work with the digital and fundraising teams, within the US and abroad, to create, refine and implement our national digital strategy in alignment with our goals.
Job Responsibility:
Creating, or proof-reading, social media posts for Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.
Performing Community Management (responding to questions and comments on social media changes) and profile management
Analysing social media metrics and presenting audits to colleagues
Assisting in relationship maintenance and building with influencers, celebrities, and ambassadors
Aiding in strengthening SEO in website content
Ensuring consistent brand awareness within all web activities
Staying abreast of trends, issues or news that may interest or affect our work
Requirements:
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in (and enthusiasm for) social media and associated tools (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Canva, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
Ability to participate and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team as well as working autonomously and remotely
Motivated, organised, and punctual, with demonstrated project management skills
Creativity in developing content as well as leveraging pre-approved content to maximise audience engagement
Willingness to travel occasionally as well as drivers license
