This is a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy communications professional to contribute to a variety of digital platforms and support a community-focused organization.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the effective operation of the Council’s internet and intranet sites while providing specialist advice on social media and videography
Provide technical administration and desktop support for CMS systems using HTML and CSS to ensure content is accurate and accessible
Create and optimize digital assets, including video, sound clips, and photos, while resolving complex technical design issues
Identify solutions to maximize the efficiency of social media channels and maintain digital strategy standards
Coordinate and train staff to create online content and forms, ensuring high-quality support services across the organization
Requirements:
CMS Expertise: Demonstrated experience configuring and administering complex government web and intranet sites using CMS systems and form builders
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to meet the business and internal communication needs of various stakeholders
Training Skills: Experience delivering user training to non-technical staff members
Analytical & Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital platforms and software integration, specifically for government communications and engagement
Project Coordination: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet urgent deadlines
