The Marketplace Associate is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth and deliver commercial targets across key European and global marketplaces.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and deliver commercial targets across key European and global marketplaces
Manage commercial performance, leading relationships with marketplace partners, and ensuring best‑in‑class brand execution on platforms such as Zalando, About You, Amazon, and others
Monitor sales performance and profitability across each marketplace and proposing actions to achieve commercial targets
Manage the relationship and daily business operations with marketplace partners, ensuring full compliance with platform policies, guidelines and best practices
Develop a strategic assortment plan per marketplace and per brand, defining the optimal product mix, depth, and pricing structure specific to each platform’s business model
Provide forecasting proposals aligned with seasonal plans and marketplace demand patterns to support sales targets
Set up sales plans and stock allocation strategies per marketplace, ensuring availability, coverage, and stock efficiency
Support the brands’ buying teams with insights and analysis related to marketplace performance, demand signals, product gaps and commercial opportunities
Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and commercial campaigns tailored to each marketplace, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and profitability goals
Monitor and analyse pricing trends, promotional intensity, competitor activities, assortment movements, and broader market dynamics across all marketplaces
Monitor and analyse the main business and ecommerce KPIs relevant to marketplace performance (traffic, conversion, activation rate, returns, availability, contribution margin, etc.)
Execute and safeguard brand strategy by overseeing marketplace presence, ensuring content accuracy, visual compliance, and price governance according to company and brand guidelines
Requirements:
3-5 years of working experience in Digital Platforms management, ideally in Marketplace environment
A deep passion for Digital and a thorough understanding of business models
Commercial attitude and international background
Experience in working with European and U.S. multi-brand platforms / marketplaces and integrators is a plus, namely Amazon, Zalando, About You, Macy´s, Nordstrom
Strong analytical skills, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics
Fluency in English
Ability to prioritize topics independently
Proficiency in Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
Teamwork
Nice to have:
