Job Description:

As one of the key members of the Digital Channels organization, the Digital Channel Operations Leader is tasked to provide the operational leadership and execution around IKEA’s Digital Channels strategy on China’s digital channels, DTC, Tmall, JD, RED and etc. and create seamless omni-channel shopping experience for our customers. This role has responsibility for the digital channel business (es) and is responsible for the quality of operations and executions to ensure business growth is on target by handling the day-to-day business operations. Also responsible for driving external vendors and delivering a seamless experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a contributor to IKEA’s digital channel growth, focusing around the business on JD platform and related omni channels
  • Secure daily operations of digital channel business, including customer management, promotion tactic implementation, consumer journey optimization and financial supporting works
  • Be part of creating the digital channel strategy and on a daily basis monitor and adjust the e-commerce calendar to achieve the sales target and operational KPI throughout the year
  • Monitor the consumer journey via efficient collaboration with relevant partners, providing input to continuously improve conversion and return on investment
  • Provide data-driven insights about our business to optimize strategy and operations
  • Take part in competitor analysis to track sales, trends, product pattern and promotion schemes of key competitors to improve our sales and customer experience
  • Work with marketplace contact person. Contribute to the firsthand marketplace activity related information and take quick action to fight for the resources from marketplace
  • Work with the JD Partner (JDP) and monitor the daily operation quality by optimizing the KPI Regularly coordinate with relevant teams, to ensure the product range, fulfilment, Customer Service, key events and commercial activities
  • Promote, actively engage and share the responsibility in the delivery of the Ingka sustainability, People & Planet Positive, Strategy to enable the ongoing transformation and growth of the IKEA business
  • On a daily basis coordinate with relevant-function teams to ensure the product range, fulfilment, customer support, key events and commercial activities are meeting agreed expectations

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in as digital channel business leader with proven results in managing EC business, including DTC channels or marketplace channels
  • Deep understanding on the drivers of digital channel business while can dig into operation details and demonstrate abilities to make sure execution excellence
  • Experienced in working with Digital channels and planning resources according to business needs
  • Experienced in e-Marketing including paid media, content, livestream etc
  • Experienced in marketplace intelligent property project and big campaign management
  • Experienced in managing e-Commerce vendors and marketplace contact persons
  • Knowledge of using digital and marketplace data tools such as Shangzhi, Qingbaotong, Jiuqian, etc
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Good communication skills, verbally and in writing
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Preferred: Knowledge of IKEA brand, culture, values and way of working
