Develop and optimize protocols for digital car key authentication and encryption, focusing on China-specific requirements
Ensure compatibility with global and local industry standards (e.g., CCC, ICCE, ICCOA, and private standards)
Integrate DCK protocols with vehicle systems, including Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and telematics units
Develop hardware and software with local supplier to ensure seamless integration of DCK functionalities
Cooperate with HQ teams for cryptography immobilizer system and security element design
Lead and organize cross-functional teams, drive project progress, and ensure timely delivery of China-specific DCK solutions
Requirements
University degree in mechanical, automotive or electrical engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry (OEMs or part suppliers), with specific experience in digital car key functions and project management
Proven expertise in developing wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth Low Energy, NFC, UWB, etc.)
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
Experience in backend development, smart card/IoT backend systems, and electronic design of vehicle products
Familiarity with cryptography immobilizer systems and security element design
Excellent presentation, planning, and organizational skills
Native Chinese speaker with fluent English
German language skills are a plus
Proficiency in computer/testing tools (Microsoft Office, CANoe, Monaco, CAD/NX preferred)
Self-driven, proactive, and able to lead cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel within China and internationally
