We are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital banking solutions across web, mobile, and emerging channels. The role focuses on translating business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, optimizing digital customer journeys, and ensuring regulatory and security standards are met within a banking environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-centric, and comfortable working at the intersection of business, technology, compliance, and user experience.
Job Responsibility:
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for digital banking initiatives (e.g., mobile apps, online banking, digital onboarding, payments, CRM)
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success metrics for digital initiatives
Analyze end-to-end digital customer journeys and identify opportunities for optimization and automation
Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure requirements align with customer experience best practices
Support A/B testing, feature enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors
Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
Analyze digital usage data, KPIs, and customer feedback to support decision-making
Prepare dashboards, reports, and business cases to track performance and benefits realization
Ensure digital solutions comply with banking regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security standards
Support risk assessments, audit requests, and documentation requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking or financial services
Proven experience working on digital platforms (mobile apps, web portals, APIs)
Strong understanding of banking products, customer journeys, and regulatory considerations
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
Experience in digital transformation or modernization programs
Familiarity with Open Banking, APIs, or cloud-based banking platforms
Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is an advantage
