The Digital Sourcing & Licensing Manager is responsible for digital sourcing and software licensing governance within Digital APAC while managing the operational end-to-end purchasing of services, software and hardware assets. This role ensures cost optimization, license compliance and synergies across the region in support of Airbus’s digital transformation and financial objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the sourcing, purchasing and software lifecycle activities within Digital APAC
Drive the strategic and operational end-to-end sourcing and purchasing of services, renewals, software and hardware assets
Coordinate sourcing and license management activities in support of Digital APAC’s products and services
Define and implement software lifecycle management and operational monitoring processes
Actively monitor contracts, suppliers and software license compliance and lead audits across Digital APAC’s landscape
Collaborate with key APAC stakeholders to establish processes, methods and tools to govern the Digital APAC’s contract landscape
Ensure software licensing records and usage are captured, tracked and updated in a Software Asset Management (SAM) tool
Maintain a solid understanding of Airbus’s data governance and export control requirements
Contribute to the performance of Digital APAC’s Domains by understanding the business user needs and expectations
Participate in and contribute to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reviews
Ensure knowledge is captured, updated, and made visible through knowledge articles
Requirements:
Degree in IT/Information Management or a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in IT Management, specifically within Sourcing, Procurement, or Software Asset Management
Proficiency in IT & Business Strategy Alignment, IT Product Design & Development, and Service Level Management
Proven experience in partner, subcontractor and stakeholder management
Solid understanding of data governance and export control requirements
Demonstrated ability to work in an international environment and manage change effectively
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build long-lasting, collaborative relationships in a multinational and multicultural environment
An outstanding customer-service mindset
Ability to support group programs and manage high-complexity situations
Well-developed interpersonal skills and a commitment to working effectively within a team environment
