As an Account Manager for Grapefruit, a digital agency, you will be responsible to maximize the value of Grapefruit in front of our actual clients and potential clients. You will do this by solving business problems through the deployment of various digital projects, crafted by your amazing in-house digital team. You will be part of one of the most appreciated digital agencies based in Romania, with cross-learning and team growth at its core. This is a result of our commitment and effort to solve the business challenges of our clients. You will be part of Grapefruit’s Customer Success Team and will work closely with the Project Manager assigned to the project. Moreover, as an Account Manager, you will be working very closely with our Delivery Manager and Project Managers and will be reporting to the Customer Success Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Account management manage all client interactions for your assigned client portfolio (budget, scope of work, reporting)
Commercial proposals: create and present proposals (digital projects such as websites, B2B or B2C platforms, digital campaigns, national consumer promotions) to existing / new clients outlining solutions and next steps. You need to be familiar with different pricing and sales proposals strategies when talking about digital projects
Stakeholders management: overcome communication gap between client and delivery team by helping each side understand industry specifics, business goals
Negotiation: be comfortable negotiating budgets, find the right balance between all parties involved and act in a consultative manner while winning with good arguments
Web of influence: build great professional relationships
be in touch with clients’ daily professional challenges
Pitch: previous experience in pitch presentations and bidding process
Reporting: manage clients’ budgets: monthly reporting internally and externally - you need to be good with excel numbers
Understanding Client Expectations: Ensuring project teams fully understand client expectations and project scopes to deliver high-quality services
Consulting Approach: Collaborating in a consulting manner with project managers and delivery managers on current/upcoming projects to be aware of project evolution and identify new opportunities
Facilitating Discovery Workshops: Organizing and facilitating discovery workshops with clients and stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business needs, objectives, challenges, and industry specifics
Travel: Being open to travel as needed to meet clients face-to-face, which may require flexibility and adaptability in your schedule
Promote Grapefruit’s values through everything you do
Create and implement new ways to increase innovation and efficiency (e.g work processes)
Act towards growing Grapefruit as a business, not only your business unit
Offer support for projects belonging to other business units
Requirements:
At least 4-5 years of relevant proven experience (digital projects) in a position of account manager, business development or sales
Excellent English (both written and spoken)
Good knowledge of online business, digital projects, and marketing
Good knowledge of industry specifics, suppliers, competitors, trends (eCommerce, digital banking, etc.)
Easily portable within other similar projects
Pragmatic, organized and can take up a challenge
Detail-oriented person
