Job Description:

Dietitian (Contractor/Part-Time) – BridgePoint Allied Care – Building Bridges to Better Care. Are you a passionate and driven Dietitian looking for a flexible role within a supportive, multidisciplinary team? BridgePoint Allied Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Dietitian to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our growing patient community across our Sydney-based clinics.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide dietetic consultations in-person and/or via telehealth
  • Manage a variety of conditions including: Diabetes and insulin resistance, High cholesterol and blood pressure, PCOS and hormone-related dietary needs, IBS and other digestive health issues, Weight management and disordered eating, Food allergies and intolerances
  • Create individualized care plans that support long-term health outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
  • Communicate with other healthcare professionals for integrated care delivery

Requirements:

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with full Dietitians Australia registration
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while being part of an allied health care team
  • A keen interest in chronic disease management, digestive health, and nutritional education

  • Provides customized nutrition education to patients and/or families and caregivers
  • Actively participates as a member of the multi-specialty, interdisciplinary care team
  • Develops an intervention plan which includes appropriate feeding route, mode, and nutrition prescription unique to patient's specific needs
  • Monitors and evaluates patient response to interventions
  • Collaborates with the Food and Nutrition Services team to enhance patient experience
  • Participates in peer reviews and chart audits
  • Supports in the training/development of Clinical Dietitian I, patient interactive positions
