Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as the Breadbasket Manager! The Breadbasket Manager supports all aspects of our restaurant-style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.” This includes ordering, meal preparation, presentation, and the meal service experience.
Job Responsibility:
Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes
Order food, following Bickford’s process, in a timely, cost-effective manner
Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (i.e., production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week’s extension menus, week-at-a-glance menus)
Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations
Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated
Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service
Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience
Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide
Utilize residents’ Meal Order Information form to follow/track all resident physician ordered diets, allergies, and preferences
Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies
Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies
Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule
Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness
Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
one-year related experience
Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require
ServSafe, CPR and First Aid certifications required
A valid driver’s license and a driving record that is consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Competent in organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
