Job Description

Collects cash payments for meals served in cafeteria; totals and deposits receipts; performs related duties as required.

Job Responsibility

  • Picks up cashier box containing the employee's bank in presence of Accounting Clerk, and both sign slip verifying the amount
  • Obtains numbered receipt tickets and signs in same to verify the starting number
  • Counts, records, and deposits cash receipts after heavy traffic periods. Prepares daily income forms
  • Prepares the daily menu board
  • Reports incidents and customer comments to Supervisor
  • Performs related duties

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-1 year relevant experience
