We are currently seeking trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics for immediate starts across various premier mining and civil infrastructure projects. With flights departing directly from Adelaide or Port Augusta, these roles offer excellent earning potential, top-tier rates, and consistent, ongoing hours across a variety of major sites and modern fleets. What’s on Offer Top Tier Rates: $60 - $70/hr (dependent on experience) + Super paid on all hours worked. Travel Covered: All flights departing from Adelaide or Port Augusta are fully paid and arranged for you. 100% Looked After: All camp accommodation and daily meals provided at zero cost to you while on site. Job Continuity: Ongoing, long-term contracts with a steady pipeline of work across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and major breakdowns. Component changes (engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulics). Fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on diverse fleets (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo). Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and contribute to a zero-harm workplace culture. What You Need to Bring AU Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology, or equivalent. Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience working on heavy earthmoving or mining equipment (civil or mining background). Valid Drivers Licence: HR licence highly regarded but not essential. Safety First Mindset: A strong commitment to safe work practices. Compliance: Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment FIFO medical and drug & alcohol screen.
