Job Responsibility
Conduct regular servicing and maintenance of diesel-powered trucks, tractors, and other heavy equipment
Participate in preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and assisting with fault reporting and repairs
Provide guidance and leadership to apprentices and trainees, defining tasks and performance targets while offering on-the-job training and feedback
Liaise with the Work Coordinator on costs, scheduling expenditures, and assisting in assessing the economic life and performance of assets
Ensure all work orders and permits are accurately completed while maintaining timesheets and standard reports
Work within a collaborative environment, conducting inspections, identifying problems, and implementing improvements
