Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Experienced in both mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and/or propulsion systems and associated electrical control technology, ECU's
  • Qualified to NVQ2 as a minimum
  • Demonstrable experience of fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics and conditioning
  • Able to undertake pre-employment checks including medicals, drug and alcohol screens
  • Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK

Nice to have:

  • Experience within Marine, Rail, Automotive, HGV or Bus sector

  • Assign and/or perform routine maintenance on marine diesel engines (e.g. oil changes, filter replacements, belt adjustments)

  • Conduct sea trials to verify repairs and ensure vessels are fully operational and seaworthy
