Dialysis Transportation Driver Job at The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska (Macy)

Job Responsibility

Work requires extensive driving between and around communities, hospitals, and other medical facilities
Lifting, bending, and sometimes carrying is necessary to assist the disabled patients when transporting to/and from dialysis
Ensure vehicles are clean inside and out at all times
Vehicle will be used for dialysis related activities only. Vehicles cannot be used for personal use
Schedule repairs and appointments. Take vehicles to such appointments
Complete vehicle checklist monthly
Participate in unit staff meetings, in services, as appropriate
Receive incoming calls, greet patients, and visitors
Driver will provide efficient and safe transportation and courteous services to any dialysis patients requiring service. You will be required to knock on the patient's door and walk them to and from the vehicle
Other duties assigned will be but not limited to filing, housekeeping, stocking shelves and cupboards, making packs and running errands
Ability to work long hours and holidays, including occasional off days
Ability to drive a vehicle in all types of weather and road conditions as endured
Other duties as assigned
