Job Description

Join Vertu Peugeot Exeter and take the next step in your career as a Diagnostic / Senior Vehicle Technician, where your expertise will be valued and your development fully supported. We are offering a competitive basic salary between £31,300 and £42,740, depending on skills and experience, based on a 42-hour working week with No Weekend Working. As a key member of our aftersales team, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience built on trust, quality, and professionalism. As a Senior Technician, you will be the go-to expert for complex diagnostics, as well as servicing and repair work, ensuring vehicles are fixed right first time. You will use your technical knowledge to support efficiency within the workshop, working closely with Vehicle Technicians, Service Advisors, customers, and senior management. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and clear communication will be central to everything you do.

Job Responsibility

  • Be the go-to expert for complex diagnostics
  • Servicing and repair work ensuring vehicles are fixed right first time
  • Use technical knowledge to support efficiency within the workshop
  • Work closely with Vehicle Technicians, Service Advisors, customers, and senior management

Requirements

  • A recognised automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • MOT licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Your own tools
  • A full UK driving licence
