Job Description:

Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time opportunity with a shift of Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 7:00am - 10:00pm, and Sunday 7:00am - 10:00pm. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examination, assist physicians, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients (both adults and pediatrics) in a hospital setting.

Job Responsibility:

Performs high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures
Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Requirements:

Vocational School
1-2 years Hospital Experience
1-2 years Customer Service Experience
Ultrasound Experience
Experience with vascular ultrasound
Experience working in a hospital setting
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required Or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required

Nice to have:

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred
Associate's Degree
