Job Description:

Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Part-Time, Day shift opportunity, working Mon, Tu, Th, F 0930-1700. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of pediatric patients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
  • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years of Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
  • 1-2 years Hospital-based department-specific work experience
  • Ultrasound Experience
  • Experience with vascular ultrasound
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
  • Driver's License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Technologist in Sonography (ARRT)
