Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

• Performs high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures
• Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
• Performing high-quality ultrasound examination
• Assist physicians
• Ensure the safety and comfort of pediatric patients

• Vocational School
• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
• 1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting
• 1-2 years Hospital based department specific work experience
• Ultrasound Experience
• Experience with vascular ultrasound
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required
• Must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date

• Breast experienced is preferred
• Pediatric and ED experience is preferred
• Associate's Degree
