Job Description:

Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf. This is a Part-Time opportunity working a Saturday and Sunday shift 8:00am - 8:30pm. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examination, assist physicians, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients (both adults and pediatrics) in a freestanding ED setting.

Job Responsibility:

Performs high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures
Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Requirements:

Vocational School
1-2 years Customer Service Experience
Experience working in a hospital setting
Ultrasound Experience
Experience with vascular ultrasound
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required Or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
Must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date

Nice to have:

Pediatric and ED experience
Associate's Degree
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred
