This role is key in delivering an exceptional, effective structured diabetes education service for patients across the UK (evening and weekend availability is required). Flexibility is required and offered.
Job Responsibility:
Delivery of the EMPOWER programme to patients
Delivery of face to face courses within the advertised area and occasional video courses
Ensuring EMPOWER programmes are delivered in accordance with curriculum, syllabus, educator handbook, lesson plan and service(s) Operating Manuals
Ensure delivery of the EMPOWER programme in accordance with all Spirit policies and procedures
Requirements:
Experience in teaching/training adults
Enthusiastic self-starter
Ability to support patients in achieving positive change and improved health outcomes
Work autonomously
Reliable
Punctual
Confident communicator
Located within the North East and North Cumbria area
Own a car and possess UK driving licence
