We are looking for a DFM Engineer to join the team in Türkiye! In this role, you will be part of the Project Engineering team, working closely with global customers across industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, and medical devices. You will be responsible for evaluating manufacturability, optimizing designs, and ensuring successful project execution by collaborating with manufacturing partners, internal teams, and customers. This position plays a critical role in solving engineering challenges, improving production feasibility, and supporting high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing outcomes across our partner’s global network.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate customer designs for manufacturability (DFM) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Optimize designs based on production capabilities, cost efficiency, and technical feasibility
Collaborate with manufacturing partners (CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing) to ensure smooth production processes
Support production troubleshooting and resolve technical challenges during order execution
Act as a technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Contribute to sourcing strategies to balance cost, quality, and delivery performance
Support initiatives to expand and strengthen the manufacturing partner network and technical capabilities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication
Strong understanding of process cycle times, material limitations, and cost optimization
Experience working with suppliers, OEMs, and cross-functional teams
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
Solid knowledge of GD&T and quality/inspection processes
Ability to analyze CAD models and technical drawings to identify DFM improvements
Nice to have:
Knowledge of 3/4/5-axis CNC machining and turning operations
Familiarity with post-processing techniques and surface treatments (plating, finishing, etc.)
Experience with advanced manufacturing processes such as EDM, grinding, honing, or lapping
Understanding of forming and fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, stamping)
Exposure to additive manufacturing technologies
