Job Responsibility:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-premise environments
  • Implement container runtime and orchestration best practices (Docker, Rancher, Helm)
  • Manage microservices-based deployments and service mesh integrations (Istio/Linkerd)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/Ansible
  • Streamline application build, test, and deployment processes
  • Implement observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for critical workloads
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization
  • Integrate container security tools (Aqua, Prisma, Twistlock, Clair)
  • Enforce role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, and compliance checks
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align with Zero Trust and DevSecOps practices
  • Work closely with developers, cloud architects, and security engineers
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to best-practice frameworks
  • Drive adoption of automation and cloud-native principles across teams

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or infrastructure automation
  • Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS (EKS, ECS), Azure (AKS), or GCP (GKE)
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Tekton)
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
  • Familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer Expert / GCP Professional DevOps Engineer

Nice to have:

  • Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd), API gateways, and ingress controllers (NGINX, Kong)
  • Security hardening and vulnerability scanning in containerized environments
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancers, firewalls)
