Job Description:

In our team, we build an internal developer platform using cloud-native technologies. We called it the d.velop developer platform, or DDP for short. With the DDP, we provide our dev teams with a confident, secure and scalable platform for running their products on the cloud providers OTC and AWS. From Developer Control Plane to Delivery Plane to Security Plane, we provide comprehensive support to our engineers. With just a few lines of code, they describe their workload specifications (e.g., databases, S3 buckets, HA, secrets, certificates), deliver their containerized products, and our operators in Kubernetes do the rest of the work. A few seconds later, the product is highly available under a public endpoint.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build an internal developer platform using cloud-native technologies
  • Provide dev teams with a confident, secure and scalable platform for running their products on the cloud providers OTC and AWS
  • Provide comprehensive support to our engineers from Developer Control Plane to Delivery Plane to Security Plane

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with Internal Developer Platforms
  • Experience with well-known cloud providers like AWS or in the European union-based providers like OTC and STACKIT
  • Deep knowledge about cloud native software development
  • Knowledge of highly scalable, resilient and secure software architectures
  • For each CNCF project category, the most relevant projects are known
  • Especially familiar with the technologies we use, such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Git, Kustomize, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Vault, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Comfortable with the Go programming language
  • Not afraid of shell and Linux
  • Have several years of relevant experience as a platform or software engineer in the field of product development

Nice to have:

  • You want to work with cutting-edge technologies far away from beginner tutorials
  • Despite the wide range of topics, you manage to work on individual points in a focused manner without losing sight of the big picture
  • You enjoy being responsible for a product and developing it further
  • You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with foreign code
  • Good sense for a mix of perfection and pragmatism
What we offer:
  • Flexible working hours
  • Paid sick time
  • Eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten
  • Discovery benefits
  • We work across borders
  • Mobile Office
