Wyvern has been through Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch and has raised >USD$17.5M in pre-seed, seed, and non-dilutive funding. If you’re excited about creating a better earth from space we want you on our team. Wyvern is developing telescopes to capture better hyperspectral imagery from space. Hyperspectral images contain more colours than other types of imagery, meaning these images capture the spectral signature of your crop or forest, for example. With hyperspectral imagery, however, it’s hard to get quality images with a high signal-to-noise ratio and resolution. To mitigate this, and as part of our long-term vision, we’re designing telescopes that are compact on launch and deploy in space, meaning we pack better performance in a smaller, cheaper-to-launch package. In the meantime we have a constellation of satellites – nicknamed Dragonette – that are delivering the highest-resolution commercial hyperspectral images on the market to our customers. We’re looking for a DevOps specialist to work with the Software team. You'll be building and maintaining the infrastructure that processes and analyzes those images, and gets them to our customers in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start their career in the space industry and offers room to grow as Wyvern expands its constellation and its data offerings.
