Job Description:

The DevOps Senior Engineer will be a key driver in modernizing Citi's core infrastructure by focusing on automation, cloud optimization, and enhanced security. The position entails responsibilities such as certificate management, patching, vulnerability remediation, cloud management, and developing automation scripts.

Job Responsibility:

Modernize our infrastructure capabilities by adopting latest technology to automate our infrastructure provisioning, procurement and maintenance
Certificate Management: Manage the lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, ensuring timely renewals and minimizing service disruptions
Patching and Vulnerability Remediation: Implement and manage patching processes for operating systems and applications
Infrastructure Requests: Fulfill infrastructure requests from various teams
Cloud Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs and improve efficiency
Agent Installation and Management: Install and maintain various agents on servers
Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools
Collaboration: Work closely with other developers and teams
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively troubleshoot issues
On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotation for L3 support
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in infrastructure development, system administration, or DevOps role
Strong understanding of operating systems (Linux and/or Windows)
Experience with certificate management processes and tools
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation
Experience with patching and vulnerability management tools
Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cost optimization strategies
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
