As a DevOps manager you will lead and grow a distributed, follow-the-sun DevOps Operations team that owns the L3 support function for our Edge/on-prem (OpenShift, k0s) and cloud platforms (AKS and GKE). Your primary responsibility is to deliver reliable operations at scale by establishing the processes, standards, and capabilities that enable fast, high-quality L3 resolution. You will foster tight, day-to-day collaboration between Operations and the DevOps engineering teams to ensure unified incident and change management across time zones. The primary objective is to deliver fast, regionally aligned L3 support for DevOps-related incidents and changes, streamline DevOps–Ops handoffs, and equip Ops with the tooling and automation needed to resolve more L1/L2 issues. Having a good understanding of our product, its components and their interactions is essential in troubleshooting and problem remediation. You will partner with DevOps engineering to automate and streamline existing workflows and processes. Ensuring timely, high-quality handling of requests will reduce incident duration and directly improve customer satisfaction. Job Responsibility:
Develop team capabilities in automation, cloud and edge deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals
Manage and lead the global DevOps L3 team
Manage the day-to-day running of the team and the projects
Overall responsibility for the projects that the team is working on
Acts as a point of escalation for the team

Collaborates on technical architecture and system design
Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure the final solutions meet organizational needs
Interacts with cross-functional management on high-profile technical operations while providing clear feedback and leadership to support teams
Authoring knowledge-base articles and driving internal knowledge sharing
Works in off-routine hours occasionally
Works with customers and travel to international customer or partner locations
Collaborate with the Operations teams for troubleshooting and solving L3 tickets, create automations to reduce and optimize workload
Work closely with the wider DevOps engineering teams, your manager, developers and QA engineers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth integration and deployment of our product
Collaborate with the team to ensure the security of our cloud and edge solutions
Requirements:
Proven 3+ years experience as a DevOps Manager and previous experience as a DevOps/Automation Engineer, Linux Administrator or a combination of them
Experience in building new teams and establishing processes and procedures
Basic understanding of local and distributed filesystems (ext4, xfs, NFS), storage migration, SSH tunneling, SCP, SFTP, web servers (Nginx, Apache), reverse proxying, and troubleshooting (logs, performance, connectivity)
Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift, and virtualization solutions
Experience with Ansible/Ansible Tower (or similar tools like Salt, Puppet, Chef), Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD (or equivalents like CircleCI, TeamCity), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (or alternatives like Azure Automation, CloudFormation)
Familiarity with Azure Cloud (or AWS, GCP), GIT for system versioning, and basic understanding of backup solutions
Experience in Bash scripting and Python for automation and development tasks
Experience with monitoring tools like Node exporter, Prometheus, Grafana, and log collection solutions (e.g.,Prometheus, fluentd, logstash)
Basic understanding of relational (MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch, MongoDB) databases, with hands-on experience writing queries
Hands-on experience with JSON and making Restful API calls
Broad understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, programming languages, frameworks, and industry trends, particularly in the AI space
Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to inform product decisions
Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
Fluent business English is a requirement
