Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Work with AWS team to transition development teams to standardised DevOps tools and processes
Implement new Gitlab pipelines for teams currently using something else
Create build, test, and deployment pipelines
Implement observability metrics for teams
Design and capture DORA metrics
Python scripting
CDK infrastructure as code + client's own IaC tooling
Install SAST security tooling
Call out to automation test suites
Make recommendations for how to containerise C# and Java apps or deploy them into AWS and on-prem environments
Manage pipelines for C# and Java apps.

Requirements:

Experience with AWS cloud, including resource management and service configuration
Knowledge of AWS CDK for infrastructure as code
Ability to create and manage YAML configuration files
Experience in process automation, including deployments, testing, and infrastructure management
Proficiency in Python programming
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and platforms like GitLab/GitHub.
