Wissen Technology is Hiring for DevOps Engineer. We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, scripting (Shell/Python), and strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing automation scripts, managing CI/CD pipelines, and administering web/application servers such as JBoss, Apache, or Tomcat.
Job Responsibility:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning
Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
Develop automation scripts using Shell or Python to improve deployment efficiency and system monitoring
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance across Linux/Unix environments
Configure and manage application servers (JBoss, Apache, or Tomcat)
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases
Implement and maintain system security, monitoring, and backup procedures
Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools
Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
Hands-on experience with Shell scripting and Python scripting
Experience with JBoss, Apache, or Tomcat servers
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices
Nice to have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
Exposure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
