Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at Sopra Steria, you will be responsible for implementing application solutions both in the cloud and on-prem, participating in technical research and development, and supporting operational teams. You will collaborate closely with other professionals to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the DevOps space, focusing on automation, infrastructure as code, and technical integration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects, and development teams for continuous improvement
  • develop interface simulators and design automated module deployments
  • complete code and scripting against APIs, as well as resolve product implementation errors
  • participate in research and development to deliver complex automation solutions
  • coordinate the technical integration with the internal IT tooling
  • work with the project managers using SAFE Agile methodology.

Requirements:

  • Passion for new technologies
  • solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions
  • enhance and drive automation and Infrastructure as Code delivery
  • ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues and develop tools/systems for task automation
  • 3+ years of experience in software development (Ansible, Python, Shell/Bash, Groovy)
  • experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) is a plus
  • experience in a medium to large IT environment is a plus
  • fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • customer-oriented with the ability to receive and use constructive criticism.
