Appfire is looking for a DevOps Engineers to join our Global, distributed DevOps organization. The primary goal of this team is to cultivate and advocate for standard DevOps practices across all Appfire Engineering departments. The team also ensures that all standards are implemented to meet our security requirements and provides essential DevOps services to alleviate the workload of Appfire's development teams. This is a remote role that can be based in either Poland or Bulgaria, but you will be joining a global, remote-first team. Appfire operates across 19 countries and it is customary to be able to work async. This role spans a broad set of challenges. You might design a new capability on our AWS platform one day, then build or improve CI/CD pipelines the next - always with an eye on reliability, security, and developer experience.
Job Responsibility:

Build or improve CI/CD pipelines with an eye on reliability, security, and developer experience
Requirements:
Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Jenkins, Github Actions, and Docker
Ability to deliver and operate production systems end-to-end (design, implement, document, and support)
You are passionate about AI and integrating it into your daily workflows
You like working as part of a team
Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
Fluent in English language (both written and communicational)
Nice to have:
Coding/scripting skills (Python preferred)
Experience with GCP and/or Azure
Experience with Ansible
Experience with observability and logging stacks such as ELK and Grafana (or similar)
