Job Description:

This role will be key part of the Infrastructure Engineering team with a broad impact across product and customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Gather requirements, build infrastructure and tooling to support product initiatives
Be a conduit for technical expertise in liaising with external partners
Provide technical guidance, solving expertise, and architectural insight to development, quality, and site reliability teams
Solve complex problems using both open-source and in-house tooling to support security and business initiatives
Build applications and tools to reduce barriers, decrease friction and speed up delivery of products
Scale existing technologies (or promote new technologies) to out-pace current growth projections
Evangelize next generation cloud and DevOps products and processes, experiment with their implementation and bring them to fruition

Requirements:

Master Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or foreign equivalent, plus 6 months experience
In lieu of a Master’s degree and 6 months of experience, Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalency in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or foreign equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience
In depth knowledge of: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
Ability to write Docker files and Kubernetes yaml definitions from scratch
Expert in Ansible
Should be able to write automation playbooks for Ansible
Well versed in Linux compute, networking, storage, and DB's (SQL and NoSQL)
In depth knowledge of Spinnaker, Terraform, and Jenkins
In depth knowledge of GitHub, Maven, Gradle
Excellent scripting skills in Python, Golang and Bash
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with Dev, QA, and SRE teams

Nice to have:

Experience with the HashiCorp stack - Nomad, Consul, Vault is a plus
Comfortable working with large-scale multi-cloud deployments
Understanding the security and compliance aspects of DevOps
Strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time
