Are you a talented Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives on automating complex processes and ensuring systems run flawlessly? We are looking for an expert to join a high-impact project within the banking sector, translating client requirements into robust functional specifications and driving digital transformation. The position is full-time, based in Athens, operating under a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to automate quality checking, building, packaging, and deployment
  • Utilize scripted and parameterized pipelines, integrating tools such as Git, Sonarqube, Docker, OpenShift, and LiquiBase
  • Develop and enhance web tools that automate and simplify routine release, application, and data management tasks
  • Configure and maintain health-checking and monitoring tools and dashboards using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack
  • Manage application modules across various platforms including Linux, IBM AIX, Windows, and OpenShift container management
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Devops Engineer
  • At least 4+ years of proven implementation experience in the technologies mentioned above
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a distributed team, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)
  • Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
  • Experience within the banking and financial industry
  • Fulfilled military services obligations (if applicable)
  • Good understanding of RedHat Enterprise Linux and administration experience
  • Proficiency in Bash, Unix shell scripting, or Python
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools
