Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at Avaloq, you can be part of many exciting and challenging projects relating to cutting-edge worldwide banking initiatives. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining development environments, optimizing pipelines, and supporting deployments for our Web Banking solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and maintaining development environments with all necessary components
  • Improving and adjusting existing pipelines to align with new requirements from the Web Banking Minor Upgrade
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery of configured and created products
  • Supporting customers with the deployment of releases, ensuring seamless integration into their environments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and performance of the release process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
  • Highly proficient with Jenkins pipelines, Gradle, Artifactory, Python, Groovy, Linux and Bash, Docker
  • Proficient with DevOps tools such as Ansible, ElasticSearch, Openshift, JBoss or Wildfly
  • Able to work alone and in a team
  • Ability to analyse issues and execute solutions accordingly
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

  • Certifications in the field of microservices and related scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Unix (RH) and related scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Airlock
