Job Description

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to develop / maintain our deployment infrastructure and automation framework in our ICs Engineering team in Modena, currently focused on the development of our IC software solutions and tools. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the build and deployment of services / tools for internal departments and external customers. You will play a key role in the lifecycle of the developed services and tools. You will work in a dynamic, proactive and young team within the IC Engineering Department.

Job Responsibility

  • Linux-based server maintenance
  • Workflow maintenance
  • Create complex pipelines for several needs
  • Manage deployment cycle of web-applications
  • Support and cooperation with other Eggtronic teams and departments during their automations and deployment phases

Requirements

  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in scripting (shell/python), automation, DevOps tools and methodologies
  • Basic knowledge and some working experience in Build Automation Engine: Gitlab
  • Basic knowledge and some working experience in Version Control Systems: Git, Gitlab SCM, Branching strategy
  • Basic knowledge and some working experience in Dependency and Package management tools: Pip, apt, rpm, etc
  • Basic knowledge and some working experience in Build systems: Make, CMake
  • Basic knowledge and some working experience in OS: Windows, Linux
  • Define architecture, QA strategy, documentation for the automation framework developed.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.
