Job Description:

The Azure Infrastructure and Operations team is a service team dedicated to managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure and operations for other xBI teams. Their responsibilities include setting up and configuring Azure resources, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance, while also automating tasks and supporting application deployments. The broader xBI platform provides essential shared services to all development teams. Be part of a new infrastructure team that is being created for Bosch Global Service Cross Business Intelligence.

Job Responsibility:

Deploy and maintain virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and other resources in Azure
Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines, including managing agent pools and deployment automation
Support connectivity and data flows between Azure cloud and on-premises systems (such as database servers, file shares, and network zones)
Ensure all cloud and on-premises resources comply with company security policies (including firewall rules, access management, and audits)
Investigate and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions for recurring problems
Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to track the health of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, responding to incidents and alerts
Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell/Bash/Python) to automate routine processes and deployments

Requirements:

Azure Infrastructure Management: Experience with Azure portal, resource management, subscription handling, cost analysis, and governance
CI/CD Pipeline Configuration: Knowledge of Azure DevOps, agent pools, pipeline setup, and deployment automation
Windows & Linux Server Administration: Especially for on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
Networking & Security: Understanding of firewalls, network zones, access management, and secure connectivity between Azure and on-prem resources
Scripting & Automation: Infrastructure as Code based on Bicep/Terraform/Opentofu. Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating operational tasks and deployments
Monitoring & Operations: Using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and general troubleshooting of cloud and hybrid systems

Nice to have:

Experience Working in Agile/Kanban Teams: Participation in backlog planning and cross-team meetings
Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain technical documentation, onboarding checklists, and operational runbooks
Stakeholder Communication: Working with product/service owners, architects, and other technical/non-technical teams
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Team player with proactive communication
Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-changing environment
