Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in streamlining development processes, maintaining system efficiency, and fostering collaboration across teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous integration, delivery, and innovation within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
  • Oversee the deployment of applications using configuration management tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with software development teams to diagnose and resolve build-related issues
  • Implement security measures within workflows, focusing on identifying and addressing vulnerabilities
  • Configure and manage monitoring and analytics systems to ensure optimal performance and insights
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application service and performance issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold release management best practices
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the efficiency of production environments
  • Align software development requirements with IT infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Document processes and create training materials to support team onboarding and promote adherence to best practices

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a DevOps or build engineer
  • At least 5 years of experience working with cloud technologies, with Azure being preferred
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Proficient troubleshooting and analytical abilities to resolve issues effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments
  • Ability to manage client interactions and discuss system needs
  • Relevant certifications such as AZ-400 or GitHub certifications
  • Technical expertise in Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, Terraform, and observability tools including Prometheus and Grafana
