Job Description:

Our partner, a global lottery company with over 40 years of research and development in lottery systems, provides an innovative work environment. With more than 240 employees in Budapest, the company currently serves over 400 customers on six continents. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities include maintaining environments, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, Kubernetes clusters, and internal training. Requirements include experience in IT application operation, Kubernetes, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, and familiarity with caching or messaging broker solutions. Strong English skills are mandatory.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain automated provisioning for development, testing, and production environments (Ansible)
develop, test and maintain CI/CD pipelines to help deliver software of higher quality at greater speed
build the necessary monitors, alerts, and self-healing capabilities for solutions
play a key role in the decision making process for DevOps architecture
manage new and maintain old Kubernetes-based clusters
participate in process improvement and setting engineering best practices with the team
solve problems in ways that drive towards simplicity of architecture and operations
produce and maintain documentation on installations, procedures, and requirements for systems
provide training for internal teams ensuring best practices are followed

Requirements:

2-3 years‘ relevant experience in IT application operation
deep understanding in Kubernetes and Ansible, or similar technologies
experience in managing container images
experience in building and managing CI/CD and other pipelines (preferred Jenkins)
experience in at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
familiarity with caching and/or messaging broker solutions
IT attitude, willingness to learn new systems, open to continuously extend your professional skills, team player
ability to work well under pressure
excellent English for daily use
