Job Description:

We’re looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, be familiar with Ruby or Python, and work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, collaboration skills, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of an on-premise, cloud-based production system
Ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems
Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems
Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products
System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance
Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and solutions
Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements
Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring
Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
or equivalent work experience
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in system
6 to 7 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
Master’s + 7 yr. Exp/Equiv.
